Our instructors are inspired and passionate people who have experienced, deeply and profoundly, the gifts of a regular yoga practice.  They now aspire to wholly embody these gifts and pass them on to their students.  They are devoted to each and every student, and strive to support all practitioners in achieving his or her individual yoga goals.  Yoga is itself the greatest gift, and it gives of itself freely to all who knock on its door.   Our instructors are mere guides for the power and potential that already lies within the student, awaiting discovery.

Salena Quinlan-Shults

“Yoga is more than just working out… I love Yoga for the mind-body-spirit connection that it encourages… It not only teaches a person how to move and breathe, but also how to live a better, less stressful and more peaceful life… I feel yoga is something the whole world could learn and gain from.”
Salena has always had a passion for keeping her body, mind and spirit healthy!   She spent much of her life as a dancer and fittness instructor. Her discovery of  Yoga happened while in college when a good friend and devout Yogi recommended that she try a Yoga class. A little leary about the whole "yoga thing" she went ahead and enrolled in a class. Soon she discovered the body, mind and spirit conncection that yoga embodied was exactly what she had been searching for and spreading the joy of Yoga was indeed her calling!   In 2001, YogaFit certified Salena and in 2008, she completed the 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (R.Y.T.) certification through Purple Lotus Teacher Training.  Salena left behind a stressful career in corporate America to open Yoga on Main, so that she could share her passion with others. She infuses love, humor, and understanding into her classes to ensure that yoga is something that can be enjoyed by all.

Marni Stallings

Picture
Marni found yoga while searching for a good old-fashioned workout. When she left the studio after that first practice, she realized she had stumbled into something she did not know she was searching for…a road to Inner Peace. She felt like she found something that she never realized she was missing. Immediately she wanted to learn more and as she learned, she quickly realized she wanted to share it with as many people as she could. She uses yoga to quiet her mind…the mind of a wife, mother of three and fulltime accountant. It allows her to focus inwardly, in turn giving her the ability to be the best person she can be for those around her. Finding Yoga and taking this journey has been the second best thing in her life. First and foremost, of course, is her family. RYT 200hr

She practices regularly at Yoga on Main, is the mother of one vibrant little boy named Hunter, and loves a good conversation above all other things.
